What we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.

What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, username, email address, phone number, city, state and your password (stored only as a secure hash).
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address, profile photo and a Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
- Listings: business, job or event details, photos, opening hours and contact information you choose to publish.
- Activity: reviews, photos, favorites, saved searches, event RSVPs, messages sent through contact forms and job applications (including any resume you upload).
- Verification: documents you upload to verify or claim a listing. Only our moderators can see them.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, used for security and to keep the service running.
- Your location, only when you tap Near me or Use my location, and only for that search or prayer-time calculation. We do not store it.
- Counts of listing views and clicks, which are shown to the listing owner as totals, never as individual visitors.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never sent to or stored by MusliGo. We keep a record of what was purchased, the amount and the date.
How we use it
- To run your account, publish your listings and show your reviews.
- To send emails you need (verification, password resets, payment confirmations, security notices) and the notifications you choose (saved-search alerts, event reminders, weekly summaries).
- To pass your message or job application to the business you contacted.
- To moderate content, prevent fraud and spam, and keep the platform secure.
- To understand overall usage and improve MusliGo.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies
We only use cookies that the site needs to work: keeping you signed in, protecting forms against forgery, and remembering your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The installable app stores a copy of a few pages and images on your device so it works offline. You can remove it in your browser settings.
Security and retention
- All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, sessions can be revoked and two-factor authentication is available (and required for admins).
- Resumes and verification documents are stored privately and are only available to the listing owner or our moderators.
- We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, listings, reviews and favorites are deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Your choices
- Update your profile at any time from your profile page.
- Download a copy of your data, or delete your account, from Account settings.
- Turn optional emails off in Account settings.
MusliGo is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. If the changes are significant we will tell you by email or on the site.
